A fellow recruiter recently lamented to me about losing a “Rockstar” candidate because the client showed an alarming disrespect to the candidate during the final interviews. This recruiter was rightfully frustrated because, after all the time and effort put into sourcing and prepping this candidate for the opportunity, they were treated poorly. Totally unnecessary! The golden rule should be followed…treat others the way you want to be treated. Keeping appointments, being prepared, asking thoughtful questions…all vitally important to bring “Rockstar’s” on board your company!
